BDC Sports Club participated in the recent joggerthon organised by Pustaka Negeri Sarawak one early Saturday morning. Seven members were up early and ready for a morning full of events that kicked off with an aerobic workout and a short speech by the State Secretary. Then it was all dua tiga orang berlari, yang lain jogging-jogging jalan kaki.
Despite our modest team, we managed to secure third place in the women veteran category through our Jorinah Amin. She also won one of the many lucky draws. The rest of the team managed to cross the finishing line amidst the 2.8 and 4.8 kilometers run for veteran and open category respectively, without any prior training or even strolling exercise.
It was a fun event and we do encourage those ex-aerobic and line-dancing dancers to join the next one scheduled sometimes in April.
