E haere rā Rangatira


Formally, she is still enjoying her long leave. Technically, 30th November 2011 was her last day with us. After 22 years with BDC, Madam Ngo had decided to spread her wings. Formally, she mentioned that she is heading to a place that she had grown to love. And naturally, we assumed it as the land of the long white cloud.

We wished her the best for her future undertakings. E haere rā Rangatira...

CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE

The following are the codes of conduct for all staff. The breach of any one of these codes of conduct by a staff renders him/her liable to disciplinary action under the Terms and Conditions of Service:-

  1. A staff shall at all times and on all occasions give his/her undivided loyalty and devotion to BDC.
  2. A staff shall not subordinate his/her duties to BDC in favour of his/her private interests.
  3. A staff shall not conduct himself/herself in such a manner as is likely to bring his/her private interests into cinflict with his/her duties.
  4. A staff shall not conduct himself/herself in such a manner as to bring BDC into disrepute or being discredited therefor.
  5. A staff shall not conduct himself/herself in such a manner as can reasonably be considered as lacking in efficiency.
  6. A staff shall be honest and shall not conduct himself/herself in such a manner as to lay himself/herself open to suspicion of being dishonest.
  7. A staff shall not conduct himself/herself in an irresponsible manner.
  8. A staff shall not conduct himself/herself in such a manner as may be construed as an act of insubordination.
  9. A staff shall keep secret all transactions, accounts, information, dealings and business affairs affecting BDC and its customer/s or any person that BDC may have dealings with.
