The following are the codes of conduct for all staff. The breach of any one of these codes of conduct by a staff renders him/her liable to disciplinary action under the Terms and Conditions of Service:-
- A staff shall at all times and on all occasions give his/her undivided loyalty and devotion to BDC.
- A staff shall not subordinate his/her duties to BDC in favour of his/her private interests.
- A staff shall not conduct himself/herself in such a manner as is likely to bring his/her private interests into cinflict with his/her duties.
- A staff shall not conduct himself/herself in such a manner as to bring BDC into disrepute or being discredited therefor.
- A staff shall not conduct himself/herself in such a manner as can reasonably be considered as lacking in efficiency.
- A staff shall be honest and shall not conduct himself/herself in such a manner as to lay himself/herself open to suspicion of being dishonest.
- A staff shall not conduct himself/herself in an irresponsible manner.
- A staff shall not conduct himself/herself in such a manner as may be construed as an act of insubordination.
- A staff shall keep secret all transactions, accounts, information, dealings and business affairs affecting BDC and its customer/s or any person that BDC may have dealings with.
