New Toys for the boys!

AND some young at heart girls too!

Black boxes coming out of brown boxes. The timing is a bit off since somebody is going on leave and leaving some boys and girls with saliva droppings for a taste of the new toys. Expectation is high on the receiving end. On the upper hand, expectation is high as well for delivery of more creative output. On the technical end, distribution of electricity is in great demand.

So everybody has a roll to play and tasks at hand. Oh please, don't turn the exercise into merely a gift for SESCO!

The two ST & T staffs delivering the boxes that almost filled the room. Cute fellows, they are willing to do some modelling for the happy girl!

Snowing in Kuching

No evidence of that happenings but the eyes that saw it can't deny the fact that it did fell. From the mouth of somebody who used to live at temperatures below -30 degree celsius - something to really consider. Small white flakes floating in the air on a chilly evening. Statement supported by a friend who was a road away who felt something on her skin but 'no rain'.

If hail stones is common, snow is much smaller in size and lighter in weight.

Paraskevidekatriaphobia - not!

If that particular Friday falls on the 13th, Wilson would be more than please with his choice of a favourite number - thirtheen. Obviously, not a paraskevidekatriaphobic, is he? Just to reinstate, the number 13 can be a lucky number!

The last of the lucky winners, Wilson Chong Khing Luk, picked his prize almost 13 minutes before office hours. With the next day, Saturday the 13th, the start of Eid Mubarak 2007, the handing over ceremony was made simple, sweet and short. Everybody was rushing for the long weekend - happy holidays!!!

Seeing is Believing. Believe it Mary

Mary came, Mary saw, Mary couldn't believed what was installed for her to carry home. She came to collect a television set. Those that you normally put on a shelf, switch on the electricity and you get to see the world - that normally come in square boxes. The thing she saw was a rectangular, flat box, two third her height - no joke. Huhhh!!!

"Flat. Just like my computer screen??!!" she said.

Yes Mary BUT a little bit bigger.

Another happy winner smiling away - and we are smiling too!!

Editor Note: Giving away nice things to make people happy actually create positive energy. You should try it.

Peace from Sri Aman

All the way from Sri Aman, Encik Lim Kui Hong said he only know the direction of two places in Kuching - Hakka Avenue at 6th Mile Kuching/Serian Road and Bodco's office in Pending. To get to Wisma Satria BDC, he had to get direction from his relative from Jalan Satok - a familiar face to most of our staffs.

The third Samsung has found its owner and we are waiting for the two other lucky persons.

The Sibu-an Smiles!

The contents of the car were scattered outside and the man was smiling from ear to ear. Then I saw the Samsung. The happy lucky man was trying to figure out how to put the 32" into his car. The friend was still on the line, sounding excited. Or did I get them switched.

Encik Loo Hui Kiong came to collect his prize - all the way from Sibu. He is one of the lucky winners of BDC 49th Anniversary Granch Launch's lucky draws. The prize is his second tv in a fortnight!
